Events

The programming that Landfall Trust undertakes is our way to share with the public the heritage and beauty of the place and of the art that is created there. Moreover, the various events programmed enable the Trust to preserve and maintain this historic property for the enjoyment of all.

Open Houses: Visitors to the province and local people alike enjoy the opportunity to take a tour of Kent Cottage and learn about the history of the place, during our Spring Open House and Fall Culture Days.

Readings and Presentations: Our artists in residence, who have been busily creating amidst the solitude and seclusion of Kent Cottage, emerge to meet the public at a venue in Brigus to share their work. We extend an open invitation to join us to meet and listen to our artists at publicized performances during the summer and fall.

Workshops: Opportunities to attend a full day workshop at the cottage led by a talented artist or craftsperson are popular and leave the participants always wanting to come back for more. We offer a range of workshop topics each season, including heritage restoration, heritage crafts and painting.

Get Engaged. Help us achieve our goals and keep Kent Cottage in pristine condition for the enjoyment of generations to come.

Wonderful house and views.

Beautiful place.

Nice to keep the heritage alive.

So interesting connecting with a part of the history of the cottage.

A superb introduction to window care and better yet, to the use and maintenance of the tools for such work.
